Christina Caldwell

Co-Founder and Board Director

Christina is passionate about connecting people, nonprofits, businesses and community resources. With over twelve years of senior level leadership experience in regional nonprofit operations, re-entry services, grant writing and business development, she understands firsthand what it takes to move a mission forward. She is a natural-born motivator of people who genuinely believes that by bringing a community together, we are able to change the world for the better.

In 2019, Christina was awarded the Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce ATHENA Award. The national ATHENA Award Program honors individuals who strive toward the highest levels of professional accomplishment: women who excel in their chosen field, have devoted time and energy to their community in a meaningful way, and also open doors so that others may follow in their path.

Christina’s executive experience includes chairing the AZ Governor’s award-winning WIOA ARIZONA@WORK Coconino County Business Services Team,  president of the Coconino Community College Foundation Board, past board member of the Las Vegas Metro Citizen Review Board, and Flagstaff Airport Commissioner.  She also serves as the Chief Grant Officer for SPC.

Under the current corrections paradigm, there are only two options when it comes to incarceration. Public facilities are bureaucratic and lack accountability for resident success, and private for-profit facilities maximize profit over results to pay shareholders. SPC will provide the nation’s first private, non-profit correctional model. Free from government bureaucracy and perverse profit motives, we can innovate best-practices and reinvest every penny into our residents and staff. Fill out the form below to learn more.
