Jim Alexander, M.A.
Director of Operational Growth
Jim Alexander is the Director of Operational Growth at Social Purpose Corrections and a proud member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. A seasoned operations and justice reform executive, Jim brings over 25 years of leadership across correctional healthcare, reentry systems, and tribal and community health organizations. He has served as Interim CEO of United American Indian Involvement, Deputy Warden of a regional correctional health facility, and Vice President of Complex Care Operations at Equality Health. Jim has also advised the U.S. Department of Justice through the CNA Institute for Public Research and serves on the advisory board of the Televerde Foundation. Recognized for his ability to bridge systems and cultures, Jim is committed to building humane, data-informed, and community-rooted correctional models that promote dignity, accountability, and opportunity for all.
