Kristina (a.k.a. “Kricket”) holds a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine, an AS in Paralegal Studies from Florida Southwestern University, and a BS in Data Analytics from Rasmussen University. She has completed all courses and has an internship remaining for a MA in Forensic Psychology from Capella University. Kristina offered to assist SPC after hearing Brian describe his mission in an online interview. Brian’s vision reignited Kristina’s dream of providing programs for incarcerated individuals.

Kristina’s passion for criminal justice reform is evident in her pursuit of education and volunteering. Kristina is a lifelong learner and volunteer for multiple nonprofits. She is also the president of a Florida reentry nonprofit called the STEAM Cafe. She is currently enrolled in certificate programs for life coaching, CBT, and ACE trauma facilitating with a desire to provide holistic support for reentry citizens. As the survivor of a near-death stroke, Kristina is dedicated to helping justice-impacted individuals have a second chance to thrive as they reenter their communities. She believes that education is the key to successful reintegration because it opens doors to gainful employment and a better life for the individual and their family.

“The overall outcome is safer communities with acceptance and a sense of belonging felt for all.”

Under the current corrections paradigm, there are only two options when it comes to incarceration. Public facilities are bureaucratic and lack accountability for resident success, and private for-profit facilities maximize profit over results to pay shareholders. SPC will provide the nation’s first private, non-profit correctional model. Free from government bureaucracy and perverse profit motives, we can innovate best-practices and reinvest every penny into our residents and staff. Fill out the form below to learn more.
