
Patrick Mahoney
Director of Resident Development
Patrick is a seasoned corrections executive with over 30 years of experience in Florida, notably as the Director for the Office of Programs and Re-Entry in the Florida Department of Corrections. In this role, he oversaw more than 1,100 staff and volunteers and managed a budget exceeding $100 million, focusing on vital areas such as education, workforce development, and substance use treatment for the incarcerated population. His efforts were instrumental in securing a significant legislative education expansion package, marking one of the most substantial advancements in the department’s history.
Patrick has built strong partnerships with a diverse array of stakeholders, including law enforcement, judiciary representatives, and business organizations. His extensive experience in strategic decision-making and program management has positioned him as a respected leader in complex environments. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and has been recognized for his leadership both within the correctional field and throughout the community, emphasized by awards such as the Patrick Mahoney Leadership Award and the Presidential Award from the Vietnam Veterans of America.
